Opening the Door to My Heart and Welcoming the Lord’s Return

Spiritual Warfare Testimonies

By Yongyuan, United States
In November of 1982, our whole family emigrated to the USA. We had all had faith in the Lord since my grandfather’s generation, so we found a Chinese church in New York’s Chinatown soon after arriving in the United States so we could attend mass. We never missed a single mass, and my mother and sister were especially good about reading the scriptures whenever they had time in order to seek God’s blessing and protection. The priest would often say: “When the Lord comes, He will judge people publicly and divide them into categories: Those who truly repent and confess and practice their faith will be able to go to heaven; those who commit minor sins but not grave ones will suffer the torment of purgatory, but they will still be able to be saved and ascend to heaven; those who do not believe in God or commit sins that are too grave will suffer the punishment of hell.” These words left a deep impression on my heart, just as if they had been branded there. They spurred me to believe in God enthusiastically, and no matter how busy I was, I never failed to go to mass.

139-B-1 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Christ Does the Work of Judgment With the Truth” (V)

The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind, to conclude the management plan of God, for the time is near and the day of God has come. God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself. However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man, but to judge his rebellion, for God shall purify all those who come before His throne. All those who have followed the footsteps of God to this day are those who have come before the throne of God, hence all who accept the last of God’s work are those to be purified by God. In other words, all those who accept the last of God’s work are those who will be judged by God.

139-A-4 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God”

Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God.” What is the rule against those who are surely opponents of God? All of them will be destroyed. Don’t forget it. There is the saying, “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God.” What will be the outcome of these people then? All of them will be destroyed. It can be said that those who are compatible with Christ are obedient to God. What will be the outcome of these people? They will receive salvation. They will survive and enter the kingdom of God. That’s for certain. So, what is the criterion we must attain in pursuing the truth? It is to be compatible with Christ. What does it mean by “compatible”? It means espousing no conceptions on, defiance and resistance to whatever Christ says or does, and obeying Him unconditionally.

Principles We Should Know to DeceivAvoid Beinged by False Christs

By Song Yang
On an early morning of the early spring, the couple, Zhang Haiyu and Wang Qiang, are awfully busy in their steamed bun shop. The business was booming. Their son Wang Xinzhi who was newly married helped as a cashier. And his wife Xiaoying served the customers. After they rushed around for a while, the customers went to work one after another after breakfast. Then the shop was not that busy. And so the four of the family had a rest. Xinzhi took a nap on a bench. Xiaoying cleaned up the shop. Wang Qiang happily counted the money they had earned this morning on a bench. Zhang Haiyu listlessly flipped through the Bible and glanced at the calendar casually: Sunday, August 20, 2017. And then she blankly stared at the benches which were made for brothers and sisters to have meetings. Their business was flourishing as usual, but no brothers and sisters came to attend meetings here anymore. Half a year ago, Co-worker Li living in the same street came and testified the return of the Lord to brothers and sisters. She also said that the Lord comes to do the work of judgment by expressing the truth. Everyone was glad to hear that. Since then, they all went to attend her meetings.

Movie Clip "Knocking at the Door" (2) - What Mistakes Are Most Easily Made in Welcoming the Lord?

The Church of Almighty God|Movie Clip "Knocking at the Door" (2) - What Mistakes Are Most Easily Made in Welcoming the Lord?

Many people of faith in religious circles believe what the pastors and elders say, "All of God's words and work are in the Bible. It would be impossible for any of God's words to appear outside of the Bible." Is there a biblical foundation for this claim, though? Did Lord Jesus say these words? In Revelation, it is prophesied many times, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." The words of the Lord say it so clearly: When the Lord returns in the last days, He will speak again. In the matter of welcoming the coming of the Lord, if we don't depart from the Bible and seek what the Spirit says to the churches, will we be able to welcome the Lord?
