Editor’s Note: We are now in the last days and the prophecies within the Bible concerning the Lord’s return have basically all been fulfilled—the Lord is about to return to receive us. But at the time of the Lord’s return, false Christs will also appear to deceive people, so how then should we discern the true Christ from false Christs and welcome the Lord’s return? I trust that this is an issue that all who sincerely believe in the Lord wish to understand. Sister Ganxin was once confounded by this very issue, but she now knows the principles behind discerning the true Christ from false Christs, and she has now welcomed the Lord’s return. How did she come to understand these things? Let’s read her experiences together.

Judgment Has Begun in God’s Family

I am a Christian. When I first started believing in God, I frequently heard sermons where people said, “The Lord Jesus is our Redeemer. He was nailed to the cross for our sins. Jesus is merciful and loving. As long as we frequently come before the Lord and confess our sins through prayer, our sins will be forgiven and when the Lord returns, we will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.” Afterward, I noticed, when I read the Bible, many parts where the word “judgment” is mentioned. For example: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1Pe 4:17). “Because he has appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he has ordained” (Act 17:31). At the time, I did not understand what judgment meant. So, I went to ask the preacher. The preacher told me, “When the Lord returns, He will do the work of judgment to determine man’s sins. Since Jesus is the sacrifice for our atonement, our sins will be forgiven and we will not be convicted. Furthermore, those who spend and toil for the Lord will receive crowns in accordance with their contributions. There will be large and small crowns….” I did not quite understand what the preacher told me. I felt that this “crown” idea was very similar to the idea that seniority must be given priority in the secular world. My heart could not accept it.

There are indeed many places in the Bible that prophesy God’s work of the last days. We would like to know regarding Almighty God’s appearance and His work: How does this fulfill and achieve those prophecies?

The Answer from God’s Word:

I will tell you this when I open My scroll in the last days. (The scroll refers to all of the words that I have spoken, My words in the last days—this is all inside of it.)

God used Moses to do the work of the Age of Law, so why doesn’t God use people to do His work of judgment in the last days, but instead He must needs become flesh to do it Himself?

Answer:

Why it is that God must become flesh to do the work of judgment in the last days is a question with which many who thirst for truth and search for God’s appearance are chiefly concerned. It is also a question that relates to whether we can be raptured into the kingdom of heaven. So, it is very important to understand this aspect of the truth. Why is it that God has to incarnate Himself to do His work of judgment in the last days instead of using man to do His work? This is determined by the nature of the work of judgment. Because the work of judgment is God’s expression of the truth and expression of His righteous disposition to conquer, purify, and save mankind. Let’s read a passage from Almighty God’s word.

“The work of the last days is to separate all according to their kind, to conclude the management plan of God, for the time is near and the day of God has come. God brings all who have entered His kingdom, that is, all those who have been loyal to Him to the end, into the age of God Himself. However, before the coming of the age of God Himself, the work that God desires to do is not to observe the deeds of man or to inquire about the lives of man, but to judge his rebellion, for God shall purify all those who come before His throne. All those who have followed the footsteps of God to this day are those who have come before the throne of God, hence all who accept the last of God’s work are those to be purified by God. In other words, all those who accept the last of God’s work are those who will be judged by God.

Why does God judge and chastise corrupt mankind in His work of the last days?

The Answer from God’s Word:

The Lord Jesus performed His redemption work in the Age of Grace and in the last days Almighty God does His work of judgment. How do we recognize that the judgment work of the last days and the redemption work of the Age of Grace are from one God?

The Answer from God’s Word:

After the work of Jehovah, Jesus became flesh to do His work amongst man. His work was not carried out in isolation, but built upon the work of Jehovah. It was work for a new age after God had concluded the Age of Law. Similarly, after the work of Jesus ended, God still continued His work for the next age, because the entire management of God is always progressing forward. When the old age passes, it will be replaced by a new age, and once the old work has been completed, a new work will continue the management of God. This incarnation is God’s second incarnation following the completion of Jesus’ work. Of course, this incarnation does not occur independently, but is the third stage of work after the Age of Law and the Age of Grace. Each new stage of God’s work always brings a new beginning and a new age. So too are there corresponding changes in the disposition of God, in His way of working, in the location of His work, and in His name. No wonder, then, that it is difficult for man to accept the work of God in the new age. But regardless of how He is opposed by man, God is always doing His work, and is always leading the whole of mankind forward. When Jesus came into the world of man, He brought the Age of Grace and ended the Age of Law. During the last days, God once more became flesh, and when He became flesh this time, He ended the Age of Grace and brought the Age of Kingdom. All those who accept the second incarnation of God will be led into the Age of Kingdom, and be able to personally accept the guidance of God. Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering, and did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to take on the sins of man as the sin offering, but also required God to do greater work to completely rid man of his disposition, which has been corrupted by Satan. And so, after man was forgiven his sins, God has returned to flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment, and this work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and shall gain the truth, the way, and the life.

God’s Words Comfort Me After My Daughter Is Involved in a Sudden Car Accident

It was gone 11 a.m. on the morning of October 8, 2011 and I was just preparing lunch at home, when suddenly the phone rang. As soon as I answered it, the person calling said anxiously, “Your Lanlan has been in a car accident and they’re trying to save her at the county hospital. You’d best get here as soon as you can!” Hearing this, I felt a loud buzzing in my head, and before I’d said anything, the other person hung up. After I’d put the phone down, I just stood there for a while, thinking: “My daughter went out on her bicycle this morning to run some errands. How could she have been in a car accident? It’s just a prank call, isn’t it? But their tone didn’t sound like they were trying to trick me….” I didn’t have time to think any more, so I stopped what I was doing and left the house. I hurriedly waved down a cab and rushed to the county hospital. I was so worried as I sat in the cab that I clenched my fists tightly together, and I just kept looking out the window. I felt totally confused and upset and I couldn’t stop thinking: “How badly hurt is my daughter? Where has she been hurt? Is her life in danger? She’s only 17. She must be really scared being in the hospital on her own….” The more I thought about it, the more panicky I got, and I couldn’t calm down. I wanted to be there instantly by my daughter’s side to see what exactly the situation was. In my helplessness, I thought of God, and then quickly I called on God in my heart: “O God! I hear that my daughter has been in a car accident.

The Lord Jesus in whom we believe is God’s incarnation. The Lord Jesus did God’s work of redemption, no one dares deny this, but this Almighty God in whom you believe is not necessarily God’s incarnation, because there is no record of Almighty God in the Bible. So then, the pastors and elders of the religious world all say He in whom you believe is merely a man, that you’ve been fooled. Only the Lord Jesus, in whom we believe, is Christ, is God’s Son!

Answer: Your belief in the Lord Jesus as God’s incarnation is not false. But why do you believe in the Lord Jesus? Do you really think of the Lord Jesus as God? You believe in the Lord Jesus because of what has been recorded in the Bible and because of the work of the Holy Spirit. But no matter what you say, if you haven’t seen the Lord Jesus face to face, do you really dare say you know the Lord Jesus? In your belief in the Lord, you’re merely echoing the words of Peter, who said that the Lord Jesus is Christ, the Son of the living God, but do you believe that the Lord Jesus is the manifestation of God, is God Himself? Do you dare say that you recognize the Lord Jesus’ divine substance? Do you dare guarantee that if the Lord Jesus were to come again expressing the truth, you would recognize His voice? Your belief in the Lord Jesus amounts to nothing more than a belief in “the Lord Jesus” these three words. You believe in His name only.

I was born in a poor peasant family. Because my family didn’t have power or influence, I was looked down upon and often bullied by others from my childhood. At such times, I felt especially aggrieved and distressed and expected from my heart that a savior could come to change my destiny. After marriage, my life was tough and my child often got ill, so a neighbor preached Jesus to me. Learning that the Lord Jesus could save those who suffered hardships and afflictions from the sea of misery, I was very excited in my heart, feeling that I finally found the savior. From then on, I believed in Jesus and was very zealous, often going to different places to attend meetings and listen to preachings. Later, however, I found that the church became more and more desolate and the phenomenon of jealousy and strife and scheming against one another became more and more serious, which was no better than the world. I was very disappointed and my faith grew cold gradually, and I didn’t attend meetings any more.

What Truly Are the Foolish Virgins?

I’m an ordinary country woman, and I would often be weighed down by the strenuous burdens of the household. Because of this, my temperament became quite violent, and my husband and I were always at each other’s throats day in and day out. Our lives simply couldn’t go on like that. Whenever I was suffering, I would yell, “Heavens! Please save me!” In 2013, the work of Almighty God in the last days chanced upon me. Through reading the word of God and attending gatherings with brothers and sisters, I became certain that Almighty God had been the God whom I had cried out to in my suffering, and then gladly accepted Almighty God’s work in the last days.

Question 14: Many brothers and sisters worship the pastors and elders in the heart. They do not understand why, although the pastors and elders often interpret the Bible and exalt the Bible, they still hate the truth and resist and condemn Almighty God incarnate. Interpreting the Bible and exalting the Bible, is that the same as bearing witness to the Lord and exalting the Lord?

Answer: An atmosphere is already growing in the religious community. Those that can interpret the Bible best, those that have the best biblical theory are widely praised and worshiped. The people that can interpret the mysteries of the Bible and the prophecies are worshiped the most. Therefore, many people worship the pastors and elders in the church. They all see interpreting the Bible and exalting the Bible as bearing witness to the Lord and exalting the Lord. When they see the pastors and elders resist and condemn Almighty God’s work in the last days, most of them feel conflicted and confused.

Question 13: Through reading the Bible, we all know that the Jewish Pharisees condemned and resisted the Lord Jesus. When the Lord Jesus did His work, the Pharisees knew His words had authority and power. Nevertheless, they still fanatically resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus. They crucified Him on the cross. We do not understand and what was their nature and substance?

Answer: Everyone that believes in the Lord knows the Pharisees resisted the Lord Jesus, but what was the root, the true essence of their resistance? You can say that in the 2,000 year history of religion, no one has figured out the answer to this question. Though the Lord Jesus’ cursing of the Pharisees was written in the New Testament, no one has been able to discern the Pharisees’ essence.

Question 12: Most of our brothers and sisters do not understand: Before the arrival of the Lord Jesus, the Pharisees often interpreted the Bible to others in the synagogue; they stood before people and prayed and used the rules of the Bible to condemn people; they looked very reverent on the outside and never seemed to have gone against the Bible, but why were the Pharisees cursed by the Lord Jesus? In what ways did they resist God? How did they display their hypocrisy? Why did they incur God’s wrath?

Answer: People that believe in the Lord know that the Lord Jesus really hated the Pharisees and cursed them and pronounced seven woes upon them. This is very meaningful in allowing believers in the Lord to discern the hypocritical Pharisees, break away from their bondage and control and obtain God’s salvation.

Question 11: Pastor Yuan was also persecuted by the CCP for his belief in the past. I never thought he could work hand in glove with the devilish CCP to resist Almighty God. Isn’t this flagrantly opposing God? How could these pastors and leaders be so treacherous and malicious?

Answer: Every time God becomes flesh He exposes some antichrists, devils, in religious circles. When the Lord Jesus came to earth, He exposed all the hypocritical Pharisees and evil forces of antichrists. Now Almighty God has come, and He has also exposed the evil antichrist forces in the religious circles of the last days. The appearing and work of God incarnate reveal people so much.

The Lord Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Rev 3:20). Over these years, The Church of Almighty God has consistently testified that Lord Jesus has returned, and that He has spoken words to do the judgment work of the last days. Pastors and elders of religious circles, however, under the pretense of protecting the flock, do their utmost to obstruct believers from investigating the true way and hearing God's voice. What choice will Christians make as they approach this?

Question 10: Pastor Yuan of our church often expounds on the Bible, teaching us to be humble, patient, and obedient. He speaks very convincingly, and seems quite godly from the outside. Pastor Yuan also listened to your testimony of Almighty God’s work in the last days with us. He also admits Almighty God’s word is the truth, but why does he not accept it? Why is he even spreading rumors everywhere, condemning and resisting God’s work in the last days, and blocking people from turning to Almighty God?

Answer: Religious leaders resisting and condemning the work of Almighty God is not something unusual. When the Lord Jesus came to do His work, didn’t those Jewish leaders also condemn and persecute Him? In the end they even nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross. That’s a historical fact. Almighty God of the last days comes, and the words He expresses are all the truth and make people utterly convinced. Anyone who sincerely believes in God and hungers for the truth, once reading Almighty God’s word, will turn toward Almighty God. But pastors and elders from religious circles fear that if all believers turn to Almighty God, there won’t be anyone to listen to their empty Bible knowledge and theological theories. Then their status and livelihood would be at risk.

Question 9: I want to know how Almighty God of the last days performs His judgment work to save mankind from Satan’s influence. Can you tell us about your experience and testimonies?

Answer: That’s a great question! We should ask these key questions in investigating and seeking God's work of the last days. This is too beneficial for us to gain salvation through our faith in God! In regard to how Almighty God performs His judgment work of the last days to save man from Satan’s influence, let’s first read Almighty God’s words!
